How are you different than the prepared foods at my favorite grocery store ?
Believe it or not, even the largest grocery store committed to organics does not prepare most of their food in-house. Nutritional value, flavor, and texture are often sacrificed. Dinner by-the-pound, frozen gnocchi, or even grilled salmon from your deli counter can be loaded with sugars, soy, cheap oils, colorings, and preservatives. We never do any of that to you!
YOUR FOOD IS FRESH-MADE DAILY AND DELIVERED directly from our kitchen to you. We also reduce food waste by cooking small batches and are environmentally conscious, composting food scraps and using recyclable containers. We do everything we can to ensure that the integrity of the ingredients remains intact. No additives and no BS.
why are you so committed to family dinners?
We are a family-run business and bringing families together over good food is at the heart of what we do. Healthier eating increases grades in kids and reduces obesity. Statistics also show that eating together can decrease the likelihood of substance abuse, eating disorders, and depression in teens. Eating together can also reduce stress in adults and create a stronger bond among family members. The benefits of family dinners go on and on! Creating the opportunity for enjoyable family dinners, not profits, are why we do what we do.

We offer a vegetarian and vegan entrees every week along with animal-based proteins. How Do you handle food allergies?
Food allergies can be a drag for those who struggle with them. We empathize. Please let us know of any sensitivities or mild allergies and we'll accommodate you or make menu suggestions that would work. We follow all ServSafe food safety practices and are extremely conscientious of preventing cross-contamination. That said, we do share equipment and facilities with nuts, eggs, fish, wheat, dairy, and other potential allergens, so please be use caution if you suffer from a severe food allergy.
WHY ARE YOU MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE MEAL DELIVERY PROGRAMS I SEE ADVERTISED?
We use high quality ingredients such as really good olive oil and coconut oil, European butter, gluten free flours, and excellent chocolate/vegtables/cheeses. We use local purveyor's, shop the Greenmarket in Union Square, and get our spices from Kalustyan's. We are constantly searching for the best stuff out there to bring to you. We take what we do seriously and charge accordingly for ingredients and time.
WHERE DO YOU COOK?
We are proud members of The Asbury Park Food Collective, a commissary kitchen located in the vibrant and diverse community of Asbury Park, NJ. Working out of a culinary "WeWork" allows us to keep operational costs down and serve the communities that are close to our hearts. Chef Heather grew up in Wall and Sea Girt. She also spent a decade living in Brooklyn, most recently in Park Slope, and still loves serving her friends and former neighbors there.
